Eligibility

Shelter guests perfered to show photo ID (does not have to be a Virginia ID), and shelter guests cannot be registered sex offenders.

Open only mid-November through mid-March

Application process

When a guest checks into the shelter for the very first time during the shelter season, he/she will do intake with shelter manager or key leader. Process takes about 20 minutes.

Swww.cofm.info/shelter-schedule.php Guests who stay in the program receive: shelter, three meals per day, toiletry items and bus passes (if they do not have their own transportation) free of charge.

Faith-Based Emergency Shelter Program That Serves Those Experiencing Homelessness in the Greater Williamsburg Community During the Coldest Months of the Year (mid-November through mid-March). Shelter operates by housing guests at a local participating church each night for one week over the course of approximately 18 weeks.
