Shelter guests perfered to show photo ID (does not have to be a Virginia ID), and shelter guests cannot be registered sex offenders.

When a guest checks into the shelter for the very first time during the shelter season, he/she will do intake with shelter manager or key leader. Process takes about 20 minutes.

Shelter operates by housing guests at a local participating church each night for one week over the course of approximately 18 weeks.
