Provides full assortment of career planning services to job seekers, a wide range of value-added services to employers and provides youth service programs. To develop and implement local workforce strategies through the collaborative efforts of local businesses, elected officials and state agencies/programs that encourage economic growth through maximum employment and full utilization of workforce skills, experience and expertise. To design and implement an effective, flexible, results-oriented workforce development system which will 1) provide a systematic approach to identifying employers' needs and current and prospective employees' capabilities, 2) meet the needs of our customers, 3) provide continuous feedback for improving the system, and 4) leverage available resources to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of workforce development activities and services.
