Eligibility
Anyone may apply for child care services. You must apply in the city or county in which you live. You do not have to have lived in the county or city for any specific length of time. The child(ren) for whom the child care service application is submitted must be a citizen of the United States or have legal alien status. You must provide proof of their citizenship or legal alien status.

Provides financial assistance to eligible families to help pay for the cost of child care so they can work or attend education or training programs. The Child Care Subsidy Program services are child-centered and family-focused and support the broader objective of strengthening families' goals of economic self-sufficiency and quality early childhood programs for their children. Participating families may select any legally operating child day care facility eligible to participate in the program.
