For those facing financial hardship from unemployment, a family crisis, or a chronic medical condition, EnergyShare is Dominion's energy assistance program of last resort. There is no income guideline requirement, however, those under age 60 must have a disconnect notice (those age 60 or older do not need a disconnect notice). EnergyShare intake agencies determine eligibility for EnergyShare and may have additional requirements when qualifying customers for this program.

Providing organization

Salvation Army Fairfax Corps, The

The Salvation Army Fairfax Corps/Community Center is the focal point for activities and programs tailored to the needs of the Fairfax community. The Corps has worship opportunities as well as music, character building programs, educational and social activities for adults and youth. In addition, we provide basic emergency services and referrals for those in need through our social services office. Also provides Emergency/Disaster services within Fairfax County. These services are onsite feeding, emotional/spiritual care and long-term casework.
