Description
Offers opportunities for volunteers to work with people with Alzheimer's or other memory impairment. Training is provided. Sample volunteer activities include assisting people during an activity, engaging participants one-on-one (playing cards, helping with a puzzle, etc.) helping serve and distribute lunch, bringing in pets for pet therapy sessions, and set-up or assist with parties or celebrations.
