Summer Camp - Charlottesville, Albemarle County Parks and Recreation

Eligibility
Child must turn six by November 30, 2025. (No Exceptions, this is a daycare license requirement) • This program is open to all children in the age group. • You do not have to attend summer school to attend the Summer Recreation Camp. • Maximum of 100 participants for each location.

12pm to 6pm from Monday through Friday

On-line Registration; Or mail in Summer Recreation Camp Registration Form with a Check, be sure to use Summer Recreation Camp Registration Form, not general Registration Form.

Cost of camp is a one-time fee ($150)

The program consists of organized recreational activities, sports, games, contests, arts & crafts, and special events. This program is run in coordination with summer school.

Albemarle County Parks and Recreation
Administers a system of public park and recreation facilities and programs to meet the needs of the existing and future county residents. The county has 13 parks, which offer over 3,777 acres for leisure activities. Activities at the parks include hiking, biking, fishing, boating, swimming, disc golf, geocaching, and horseback riding. The parks are open year around for your enjoyment.
