Promotes reading readiness and a sense of delight in the written and spoken word. Supports education efforts. Provides current, accurate, reliable information, with a special emphasis on children and parents, business and local government, students of all ages, and the community at large. Children's program are provided during the school year for toddlers through 5th graders. The annual summer reading program serves children, 3 years old through 5th grade.
