Transportation is provided on a first-come-first-serve basis for appointments Monday thru Friday between the hours of 8:30am and 2:30pm. Encourage a week's notice, but ask for at least three working days notice

Description
Dial-A-Ride provides transportation for older adults to non-emergency medical appointments, grocery stores, and pharmacies. Trips are provided in accessible vans. Dial-A-Ride is one of several transportation programs offered by CVACL for the population it serves throughout Central Virginia, which includes adults with disabilities. Individuals, families, and caregivers are encouraged to contact the agency for more information about available transportation services.

CVACL supports older adults and individuals with disabilities to live with dignity in accordance with their personal choice. It serves as a community alliance and the Area Agency on Aging for the counties of Amherst, Appomattox, Bedford, and Campbell and the city of Lynchburg (Region 2000).
